Saigo Nobutada (1855-1877) was a Japanese samurai of the Satsuma Domain and the son of Saigo Takamori. He served under his father during the Satsuma Rebellion, during which he was placed in charge of the mountainous village used as his father's rebel stronghold. He befriended the American captive Nathan Algren and helped teach him Japanese, and he also invited him to eat meals with his aunt Saigo Taka and her children.

This figure is wonderfully put together. Poptoys really out-did themselves with this one. It is hands down, one of their best releases to date! I love the weight, the details and the realism of this piece.

I can only spare a few bucks each month. Edwin allows installment pay on his site among other services. This really helps me and I don't have to miss out on a figure anymore due to financial reasons. Just a bit each month.
